Game Play
Basics
A basket attached to a backboard appears on either the left or right side of the screen.
Bounce the ball the correct number of times to get the ball at the right height to go into the hoop.
The ball automatically moves in the direction of the backboard, but you control the ball’s height.
Play quickly & get the ball into the basket before the timing meter reaches zero.
Your game ends when the meter reaches zero.
The meter refills each time you make a shot.
Rim height
If the rim height of the next rim is lower than the rim you shot on you may be able to bounce the ball twice or less.
If the rim is even or higher you will likely need to bounce the ball at least 3 times.
Tap a couple times early in your move to get most of the elevation difference fixed immediately so you have more granular control as you get closer to the hoop.
Wrap
In this game the ball keeps moving left until a shot in the left basket is made (and keeps moving right until a shot in the right basket is made).
The only exception to the above is if the ball hits the front of the rim or the front of the backboard it bounces back the direction it came from until you bounce the ball again.
Once the ball hits the left edge (or right edge) of the screen the ball reappears on the right side (or left side) of the screen and keeps moving in the same direction it was already moving before wrapping around the screen.
Scoring
Each shot you make is worth a point.
If the ball cleanly goes in the basket it is considered a dunk and is worth 2 points.
The ball can bounce off the backboard and still be considered a dunk.
The primary criteria is how much did the ball touch the rim. Lots of rim contact means no dunk.
As you play and make consecutive 2 point scores the ball heats up.
Your shots can be worth more points when the ball is in “on fire” mode.
The shot after it is on fire is worth 3, then 4, and so on … so long as you make clean shots which do not touch the rim much.
As soon as a shot touches the rim heavily your score per basket goes back to 1 point.
Your game score is cumulative across all your balls.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like basketball or games inspired by Flappy Bird.
The game has no adult themed content.
