Basic rules
Form groups of up to 4 lines using 7 pieces.
Use the holding area to store pieces.
You can use this to save important pieces like the line piece.
You can also use this to trade one unfavorable piece with a different piece.
If you’re storing items for the first time, you can
Note that you can only swap one piece with the one you previously stored.
You can see the next four pieces in order (top first) on the right side of the screen.
After each game over, the game shows you your final score and time.
If you want, you can share your score with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or Whatsapp.
Scoring
You earn points for every piece you lay down.
You earn extra points for clearing pieces in lines.
The amount of points you earn from each piece increases as you play.
Game modes have different starting values & point systems.
In the Standard and Quick Game modes, for instance, the starting value for pieces is 100 points, and 20 points for every line.
The starting value in Relaxed mode, meanwhile, is 160 points.
Customization
Choose from 8 different aesthetic themes for your game.
All designs are available for both standard and custom games.
Available designs include grayscale, Gameboy green, bright Lego colors, shiny darker colors, original Tetris colors, darker colors with white borders, and flat colors on a purple background.
For custom games, you can also increase the size of the playing field past the 10 x 20 size up to any combination of sizes up to 20 x 30.
Game modes
Marathon
This is the version of Tetris you probably know.
Meet the target number of lines to increase the level.
As you progress through the levels, the blocks fall faster.
Play this game for as long as you can.
The game ends when one of the blocks hit the top of the screen
Quick game
This is a faster-paced version of a game using marathon rules.
Clear as many rows as you can within a span of 3 minutes.
Using the quick drop feature is vital to maximizing your score in the limited time you have.
L-Blocks
The rules are the same as ordinary Tetris, but you can only use L blocks.
This is a lot harder than it looks.
A way to make the most of this mode is to try to pair the color with itself in 2 overlapping Ls so that you create a vertical or horizontal 4×2 block.
Hardcore
An impossibly difficult version of Tetris.
In this difficulty, Level 1 speeds are absurdly fast.
We recommend this game for hardcore players with seasoned reflexes, or for people who want to frustrate themselves.
Relax
A more easygoing version of the game and the exact opposite of Hardcore Mode.
The game always plays on level 1 speed.
Your goal is to clear 150 lines.
Unlike other modes, hitting the top of the playing area does not end the game.
Instead, the game clears the stack and lets you start over from scratch.
The game will not end until you clear exactly 150 lines.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like Tetris games.
The game has no adult themed content.
