How to Play

Hop up as many platforms as you can until you reach the end of the level. Avoid the blades and spikes.

• Starting the Game
  • At the bottom of the welcome screen are the following controls, from left to right:
    • Select Leaderboard to show your scores.
    • Select Play to begin the game.
    • Select Settings to turn the game’s music and sound effects on and off.
  • At the center of the welcome screen, choose Select Level to open the level selection screen.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to jump. Left click twice to double jump.
    • Alternately, use the up arrow on your keyboard to jump. Press the up arrow twice to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to jump. Tap twice to double jump.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The square automatically starts moving to the right by itself.
    • Jump to switch platforms and avoid all the obstacles (spikes and blades) that you encounter along the way. Hitting any obstacle is an instant game over.
    • Hit the bumpers to change direction.
    • Hit the speed strips to slide down one direction faster.
    • Reach the end of the level without hitting any of the obstacles to win.
  • Statistics
    • The game over screen records the number of times you jumped.
    • It also records how long you’ve managed to last throughout the level.
  • Levels
    • There are 15 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can replay any of the levels that you’ve already unlocked.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by making it to the solid beam at the end of the level.
      • You lose if you run into any spikes, triangles, or spinning blades.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any level you lost.
  • Tips
    • Each level is the same whenever you play it again, so it is best to play with a regular cadence to your moves which is easy to repeat so that you can repeat it on your next play through.
    • If you get stuck on a platform you can start moving again by jumping.
    • Be careful with your timing on double jumps, as you die if you jump into the bottom of a triangle or other hazard.
    • Whenever you hit a blue arrow it will change your speed, so make sure you also run into the yellow arrow right after it or you’ll be moving so quickly through the level it is unlikely you will be able to correctly time your moves.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like obstacle course runner games.
  • The game shows cartoon blood each time the square hits a spike. Otherwise, it has no adult themed content.
