The goal of this game is to remove all the hexagons in the field. To do this, you must tap them at the right sequence. Each time you make a pass, you lower an active hexagon’s value. Continue until all the hexagons reach 0. The challenge is that the hexagons connect to each other in a specific way. This limits your available paths.
Like many logic games, the first few levels act as a tutorial. After that, the challenge of finishing each maze becomes clearer. You start thinking about each move seriously after the first few levels. Don’t expect to breeze through the game in the afternoon if you’re new to logic puzzles. After all, where’s the fun in a logic game that’s too easy to beat?
Shishagon is a logic game that has simple rules that result in complex outcomes. While the first levels serve as an introduction, expect the rest to give your brain a workout. The goal is to eliminate all numbered hexagons on the board. When you tap a hexagon’s arrow pointing to another, its number decreases by one. As a rule, you can only tap an arrow from a hexagon when there’s a dot on its side. Thus, the order at which hexagons can be canceled is precise. The hexagon is only removed when its value is zero.
If you can no longer tap arrows when there are hexagons left, you lose. But the good news is you can reset the game and play it all over again. There are no time constraints or limited number of moves. Your level is saved on your web browser, so you can always go back and play. The game helps players practice critical thinking and patience.
