How to Play

Push the rocks away and make your way to the sign.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the music button on the left to turn the game’s music on or off.
    • Select the speaker button on the right to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the W key or the up arrow to move up.
      • Press the S key or the down arrow to move down.
      • Press the A key or the left arrow to move left.
      • Press the D key or the right arrow to move right.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers, tap on the arrow buttons to move your character.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right)
    • Top row:
      • Exit button: Quits the game and returns you to the x screen
      • Reset button: Returns the game to the way it was at the beginning
      • Music button
      • Speaker button
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls):
      • Left arrow
      • Right arrow
      • Up and down arrows
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Push the stones away to clear a path for your character.
    • The rocks obey the rules of a classic Sokoban game:
      • Rocks only move when you push them from the opposite direction.
      • You cannot move a rock on a wall or beside another rock or a bat without a space to push.
      • Rocks cannot be moved once they’re in a corner.
    • Avoid the bats.
      • Unlike real world bats, these are aggressive predators.
      • They move when you move in a predictable pattern.
      • Pushing things in front of them will disrupt their movement cycle, which can be good or bad depending on the situation.
    • Your character must be able to enter the sign to clear the level.
    • Use the rocks to activate buttons.
  • Tips
    • Like in all Sokoban games, missteps can lead to unsolvable situations. When you make a bad move that you can’t undo, hit the reset button to try again.
    • Try to move slowly to figure out what you need to do.
    • Observe the movement of the bats before trying to pass through them. You’ll need to estimate the number of moves you must make to avoid them.
  • Levels
    • The game has 20 levels, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.
      • On the level selection screen, levels you’ve unlocked are not faded.
      • Select the level number of your choice to load it.

  • The game is suited for players who like Sokoban games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
