How to Play

View where the fish are and then quickly click the same positions. As you advance through the game the board gets larger with more fish to remember & you can upgrade various features to give yourself a longer play time or allow more errors.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the welcome screen to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to select the cards.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the cards onscreen with your fingers to select them.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Hamburger button: Exits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Level number and lives
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
    • Bottom row (center):
      • Timer bar
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The game will briefly show you where the fish cards are, then put the cards face down.
    • Select all the cards with the fish on them before the timer runs out.
    • Repeat this for as long as you can.
  • Levels
    • Each level comprises 3 puzzles.
      • Each puzzle consists of a number of cards you must find.
      • The number of cards increases with each new puzzle.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • You start at the first level.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • The number of cards onscreen increase with each level.
    • Your browser does not save your session. Each time you reload the game, you start from the first level.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 2 lives.
    • You lose lives after making a set number of mistakes (1 without upgrades) or run out of time.
    • Lose all your lives and the game ends.
  • Upgrades
    • You receive upgrades after finishing a level.
    • Each of the 4 types of upgrade improves one aspect of the game:
      • Get extra lives
      • Tolerate more errors
      • Extend observation time
      • Extend selection time
