How to Play
Choose between addition or subtraction for the game mode. Then select your preferred difficulty. Successfully solving all 12 equations per level will complete the puzzle. Win the game by completing all 5 levels in total.
- Starting the Game
- Select the PLAY button on the middle part of the screen.
- This will take you to the Game Mode screen. Select whether to solve Addition or Subtraction.
- You will then pick your preferred difficulty. Choose between Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Selecting any of the difficulty will direct you to the 1st level and start the game.
- Welcome Screen Buttons
- On the top left corner of the screen is the Developer’s Information button. Select it to to view the developer’s details and contact information.
- To go back to the main opening screen, simply select the Home button at the top left corner of the screen.
- On the top right corner of the screen is the Audio button. Select it to toggle the game’s sound “On” or “Off.”
- On the bottom of the screen is the How To Play button. Select it to go to a page where it shows you details on how to play the game.

- Game Controls
- Solve 12 math problems each level to complete the image puzzle.
- There are 5 levels in total. Complete them all to win the game

- The math problem appears on the top middle part of the screen.
- Left click your answer. Choose from 12 answer boxes.
- An image will uncover once you pick the right answer.
- Solving all 12 question per level will complete the image.
- Click the Next button to go to the next level.
- Touchscreen
- The math problem appears on the top middle part of the screen.
- Tap your answer. Choose from 12 answer boxes.
- An image will uncover once you pick the right answer.
- Solving all 12 question per level will complete the image
- Tap the Next button to go to the next level.
- Results Screen
- The results page appears after you either complete the game or failed it.
- It shows you “You Win” if you finished the game successfully and “You Lose” if you fail.
- Select the Try Again button if you want to play the game again.
- Select the Menu button if you want to go back to the opening welcome screen.
- Strategy
- This is a unique and challenging addition and subtraction math problem solving game for students.
- Choose from 2 game modes: Addition or Subtraction.
- Pick from 3 available difficulties:
- Easy = numbers are easier to solve, have 5 hearts and no timer.
- Medium = numbers are a bit harder to solve than easy, have 3 hearts and no timer.
- Hard = most difficult to solve among all 3 modes, have 3 hearts and a 400 second timer.
- There are 12 questions per level and 5 levels in total.
- The goal of the game is to solve 12 math problems correctly and complete the image puzzle.
- Solving the math problem right will uncover an image behind the answer.
- Be careful as selecting the wrong answer will deduct a heart. You only have 5 hearts for easy and 3 hearts for both medium & hard.
- Losing all hearts will result in game over. You can replenish your hearts by finishing a level.
- There is a timer on hard difficulty. It provides a better challenge than the other 2.
- Select the Next button to go to the next level.
- Finish all 5 levels to win the game.
- You can pause the game on hard mode by selecting another tab. But it’s much better to play the game continuously to challenge yourself.
- It’s a little small on mobile. Play horizontally or on a tablet for better gaming experience.
- The best way to win the game is to take your time and practice your addition and subtraction solving skills.
- Play this game with friends or classmates. It’s a unique way to help students sharpen their basic math skills.
