        • If one of the factors is not a prime number itself, you can slice it as well.
      • Do not slice prime numbers.
      • Play for 60 seconds (1 minute) or until you make 3 mistakes.

      • Each time you slice a prime number, you lose a life.
        • You have 3 lives in this game.
        • Lose all 3 lives and it’s game over.
      • If you miss a number that isn’t a prime, you don’t lose lives.
      • The game over screen shows your score and percentage of correct answers.
        • You won’t be able to claim 100 percent accuracy if you don’t split all the primes that appear.

      • You gain 10 points for each number you split.
      • Split as many numbers as you can before the timer runs out to earn a higher score.
    • Tips
      • Be careful where you move your cursor or fingers. Avoid hitting any of the prime numbers by accident.
      • A prime number is any number greater than 1 where the number only has 2 factors (itself and 1).
        • Many numbers are not primes. Their factors include 1 or more other numbers as well as themselves and 1.
        • Here are a few examples.
          • 2, 3, 5, and 7 are prime numbers. To get them, you can only multiply them by 1.
          • 6, 9, 15, and 16 are not prime numbers.
            • The factors of 6 are 1, 6, and 3
            • The factors of 9 are 1, 3, and 9
            • The factors of 15 are 1, 3, 5, and 9
            • The factors of 16 are 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16
          • In-game, you will need to cut these numbers several times before you reduce them to their primes.
      • Here are a few rules of thumb to remember.
        • Most even numbers, which are divisible by 2, are not primes.
          • The sole exception is 2 itself.
          • Expect to keep splitting even numbers until they are reduced to 2.
        • Many odd numbers that appear on a multiplication table are not primes.
          • With the exception of 9, most single-digit odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7) are primes.
          • The odd multiples of 7 (21, 35, 49, 63, 77, onwards) are not primes.
          • Both 9 and the odd multiples of 9 (27, 45, 63, 81, 99, onward) are not primes.
          • Odd numbers that don’t appear as a multiple of another small number are primes.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for children learning about prime numbers.
    • The game has no adult themed content.
