How to Play

As Mr. Apple, collect as many fruits as you can without touching the monsters.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the enlarge button on the left to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
    • Select the speaker button at the center to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
    • Select the music button on the right to turn the game’s music on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Select Hold here to reset your score to clear your previously saved game data.

      • Press the left and right arrows to move.
      • Press the up arrow to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move.
      • Tap on the up arrow to jump.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As Mr. Apple, pick up the apples that appear around the level.
    • Avoid the monsters:
      • The first monster appears after you collect your first apple.
        • More monsters appear as you reach point milestones.
        • You cannot harm the monsters. You can only evade them.
      • If you touch a monster, it’s game over.
    • Keep playing for as long as you can.
    • Select the reset button on the bottom center of the game over screen to begin a new session.
  • Getting around
    • The level wraps around itself in some places.
      • To go to the right, move to the left edge.
      • To move higher up, jump down the pit at the center of the screen.
    • As you play, more features such as jump pads appear that will help you move around.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the number of apples you collect. Each apple you pick up is worth 1 point.
    • You can view and compare your current and high scores on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple collecting games.
