How to Play

Merge identical numbers to form larger numbers. Keep merging numbers for as long as you can until the entire grid fills up.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score. It is shown just about the play button on the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse, left click and drag to move the numbers on the grid.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe the numbers on the screen with your fingers to move and merge them.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move the numbers around by swiping on the screen with your mouse or fingers.
      • Every time you swipe, you move all of the numbers on the grid in that direction.
      • Each swipe generates a new number somewhere in the grid.
    • Merge identical numbers by swiping the screen in their direction.
      • Each number merged is one bigger than the last.
      • Keep merging ever larger numbers until the grid fills up.
  • Scoring
    • Each pair of numbers you merge is worth 4 points.
    • The longer you play, the higher your score.
  • Strategy
    • Like in other 2048-inspired games, the key to earning a high score in this game is by concentrating the higher-value numbers in a single corner.
      • Focus most of your movements on one side to merge the larger numbers with ease. We recommend using the left side.
      • Try not to disrupt the movement of the numbers. Messing up the pattern of numbers will lead to a game over or a lot of time fixing the mistake.
    • This game is easier than most other 2048 games because you can keep pushing in a direction that is filled in knowing you will only get a new 1 cell added to the grid and know which cell it will appear in. You can then move the merge of 1 to 2, to 3, and so on.
