How to Play

Merge groups of 2 or more fish to form a higher value fish.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to lay down a fish on the grid.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the grid with your fingers to lay down a fish.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the top row. From left to right, they are as follows.
      • Topmost row:
        • Hamburger button: Returns you to the welcome screen
        • Score
        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound on or off
      • Top second row
        • Upcoming fish
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Create new fish tiles by merging 2 or more identical fish tiles onscreen.
      • The tiles will merge in the direction of the tiles you merged.
      • The game randomly generates tiles from the first 3 values.
    • Keep merging the tiles to create new fish tiles with larger values.
    • See if you can unlock the fish with the highest possible value.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point each time you merge a fish.
    • Keep merging fish for as long as you can.
  • Tips
    • Arrange your fish in a way that they merge where you want them to go.
    • As much as possible, avoid checkerboard patterns.
      • Checkerboard patterns leave you with no space to merge other tiles.
      • Once such a pattern covers the entire board, the game is all but lost.
      • Plan your merges so that they open up more spaces to merge fish.
