How to Play

Move matchsticks to change the numbers or operators in an equation. Fix the equation using the given number of moves.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the bottom right corner to turn the game’s sound on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a match to select it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on a match with your fingers to select it.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right)
    • Top row:
      • Level number
      • Remaining moves
      • Money earned
    • Bottom right corner
      • Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning
      • Hint button: Lets you use a hint
      • Grid button: Quits the level and returns you to the level selection screen.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Fix the equation by changing any of the numbers or operators.
      • Select a match stick, then drag it to any of the other spaces.
      • Move the matchsticks to the right places to create a number or operator.
      • Make the necessary moves that will yield the correct number in the equation.
    • Correct the equation using the given number of moves.
    • If you’re stuck, you can reset the level and start over or use a hint.
    • You earn $20 cash each time you finish a level.
  • Hints
    • If you’re ever stuck, you can always use a hint to show you which piece to move.
    • Hints will cost you $100 cash. Use them sparingly.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You start with only the first level unlocked.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
    • There are 100 levels in this game.
