How to Play

Fill in all the numbers on the grid so that no number repeats in each row, column, or square.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following options.
    • Select New Game to begin.
    • Select Resume to continue with a previous game you already started before.
    • Select Option to change the game’s settings.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to select.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row:
      • Back button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Top center (top-down):
        • Difficulty level
        • Timer
      • Help button: Opens the game’s instruction screen
      • Pause button
    • Bottom row:
      • Number of false entries
      • Hints
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Sudoku rules
      • Your goal is to fill the entire grid with numbers.
        • Each row, column, and square within the grid must contain one unique instance of numbers (usually from 1 to 9). These numbers cannot repeat.
        • Use the already-present numbers to determine the location of the other numbers on the grid.
      • Unlike in other versions of this game, you have no way of jotting down notes on the grid itself.
        • You must memorize the possible numbers yourself or write it down on a separate sheet.
      • Finish the puzzle as fast as you can.
    • Placing numbers
      • Select an empty slot.
      • Select a number from the bottom row to place it on the slot.
      • Select a numbered slot to highlight it.
    • False entries
      • False entries are numbers you placed incorrectly.
      • Any number placed incorrectly will return to the bottom row.
      • You can only have up to 3 false entries in the entire game.
    • Hints
      • To use a hint, select an empty slot, then select the hint button.
      • You can only use hints thrice in the game.

    • The game has the following customization options available on the option menu:

        • 9 x 9
      • Difficulty levels
        • Easy
        • Normal

        • Expert
    • In addition, you can toggle the game’s highlights and timer.
