How to Play

Help the knight attack his foes by selecting the correct answer to the arithmetic question shown.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the correct answer to select it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the correct answer with your fingers to select it.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Topmost row:
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Equation
      • List button: Opens the level selection screen
    • Second top row:
      • Answer choices
    • Bottom row:
      • Your health bar
      • Enemy health bar
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Attack by answering the math question on the top center of the screen.
      • There are 10 choices on the second row.
      • Select the number that corresponds to the correct answer.
    • The outcome of each turn is determned by your answer.
      • If you answer correctly, you will attack the enemy.
      • If your is wrong, however, the enemy attacks you.
    • You gain a new question after every answer, regardless of whether you answered the previous one correctly.
    • Take out your enemy by depleting all their hit points.
  • Hit points
    • Regardless of the level, you will only have 3 hit points.
      • You lose a hit point each time you make a wrong answer.
      • Lose all your hit points and it’s game over.
    • Your hit points are replenished each time you load a new level.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially. There are 20 levels in this game.
    • Each level can involve either addition or subtraction questions.
    • Each time you reload the game, you begin at the latest level you’ve unlocked.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.
      • Select the list button to open the level selection screen.
