How to Play

Move the mechanical mouse to the wind-up keys to keep it going. Avoid running out of energy and crashing into hazards.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select New Game to begin a new session.
    • Select Continue Game to resume your previous session.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse (heh), left click and drag to move the mouse.
    • You can left click and hold, or periodically tap different parts of the screen to control movements. If you periodically tap:
      • Click close to the middle of the screen to have the mouse turn slightly to the side while heading down.
      • Click near the far side of the screen for your mouse to move at a much sharper angle, almost horizontally.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to move the mouse.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Wind-up energy and number of deaths.
    • Pause button
    • Speaker button
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The clockwork mouse moves by itself but with only a limited amount of energy.
      • Guide the mouse to the keys to replenish their energy.
      • Don’t let the mechanical mouse wind down.
    • As you move forward, you encounter various hazards.
      • Some hazards such as saws and spiked walls act as barriers that you must avoid.
      • Others like darts fly around. You must time your movements carefully to get past them.
      • If you hit any hazard, it’s game over.
  • Deaths
    • The game records the number of deaths you encounter over the course of the game.
    • As you play and replay the game, your death count gets higher.
    • Start a new game to clear your death count.
