How to Play

Place pieces onto the grid. Form full rows or columns of 10 to clear the pieces from the grid and score points.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your high score appears above the play button on the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse, left click to select the pieces.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the pieces with your fingers to select them.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (top row, left to right):
      • Score

    • Bottom row:
      • Piece menu
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with a 10 x 10 grid.
    • Drag and drop the 3 pieces on the piece menu to the grid.
      • Each individual piece is composed of units that occupy a single space on the grid.
      • The smallest pieces consist of only one unit.
    • Form full rows of pieces within the grid to clear them. These rows can be horizontal or vertical.
    • Keep placing and clearing units until you are unable to fit any more.
      • The game ends when you cannot put any of the remaining pieces on the menu onto the grid.
      • This game is easier than many other similar games as this game gives quite a few smaller pieces to play, which can help you complete lines to make room for the largert pieces.
    • The game over screen has the following options:
      • Select the reset button to start a new game.
      • Select the home button to quit and return to the welcome screen.
  • Scoring
    • Each row you clear is worth 10 points.
    • Clear 2 lines at once to earn 10 bonus points.
    • Clear 3 lines at once to earn 20 bonus points.
    • You can compare your latest and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Play tips
    • Try not to leave many isolated single spots exist in nearly completed rows or columns so that you can complete the lines using a variety of pieces in different orientations.
    • If you look like you will use up your lay options on a big piece and run out of future plays try to see if you can complete a line with a smaller piece to open up more play options.
    • The biggest pieces you are given are 3 units wide or 3 units tall, so if you have an open 3×3 area available you should be able to keep making plays.
