How to Play

As an explorer, collect treasure and evade monsters. Defeat the level boss to extract the key needed to unlock the treasure chest.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select Full Screen to switch to full screen mode.
  • Select the Facebook and Twitter buttons on the bottom left corner to share the game with your friends and followers on social media.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the left and right arrows to move.
      • Press the down arrow to slide in the direction you’re facing.
      • Press the up arrow to jump.
      • Press the Z key to attack from up close.
      • Press the X key to attack from a distance.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move.
      • Tap on the down arrow to slide in the direction you’re facing.
      • Tap on the up arrow to jump.
      • Tap on the melee button to attack from up close.
      • Tap on the shoot button to attack from a distance.

    • Top row
      • Top left corner:
        • Health bar

      • Gems collected
      • Coins collected

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move across the level and confront the boss.
    • Shoot or stab any of the enemies that you encounter.
      • You only have a limited number of shots.
      • We recommend shooting monsters, including the boss, when their backs are turned.
      • Whenever you can, see if you can deal with stationary enemies with melee attacks.
      • Save most of your shots for the boss.
    • Collect gems and coins.
    • Once you defeat the boss, pick up the key and make your way to the treasure chest.
      • The treasure chest isn’t always at the end of the level.
      • Pick up the jewel inside the treasure chest to collect it.
    • On the end screen, you have three choices:
      • Select the grid button to return to the level selection screen.
      • Select the next button to proceed to the next level. This is only available if you complete the level.
      • Select the reset button to start the level from the beginning.
  • Levels
    • There are 6 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Level features
    • Boxes
      • These are usually smaller platforms that let you climb up to places too high for you to otherwise reach.
      • However, some boxes are part of the background. You’ll need an alternate means of getting around.
    • Bouncy creatures
      • They look little different from enemy monsters but are harmless.
      • If you jump on them, you get a massive boost.
    • Moving platforms
      • They either move up or down or left to right.
      • Catch them when they’re closest to you.
  • Health
    • You start each level with a full bar of health.
      • Each time a monster attacks you, you lose a bit of health.
      • You die when your health bar is completely spent.
    • Collect hearts to replenish your health bar.
    • Falling into a pit is an instant game over, regardless of how full your health bar is.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like easy platformer games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
