How to Play

As a spider, collect the flies stuck on the web, shoot down bats, avoid other hazards, and exit through the door.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button to the right of the game’s title to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sound on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • You can view your best score on the top left corner of the welcome screen.

    • With your keyboard,
      • Use the arrow keys to move around the web.
      • Use the space bar to attack the bats.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers
      • Use the arrow buttons to move.
      • Use the fire ball button to attack.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right):
    • Top row:
      • Flies collected
      • Score
      • Lives
      • Pause button
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls):
      • Left and right arrow buttons

  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You start with only the first level unlocked.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • There are 10 levels in this game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beat.
  • Basic rules
    • Collect as many flies as you can.
    • Avoid running into nails and bats.
    • Clear the level by reaching the door somewhere across the web.
  • Enemies and hazards
    • Lives
      • You start the game with 3 lives.
      • Each time you hit nails or get attacked by a bat, you lose a life.
      • Lose all your lives and you fail the level.
    • Nails
      • Nails stick out of the sides of the walls.
      • While you can avoid them easily otherwise, they can sometimes be hard to see.
    • Bats
      • Bats travel in a specific path.
      • While you can avoid the bats, you can shoot them for extra points.
      • Bats take a few shots to take out.
  • Scoring
    • You can earn points from the following actions:
      • Eating flies. You get 5 points for each fly you consume.
      • Attacking bats. Each successful attack on a bat nets you 15 points.
    • Your high score is the highest number of points you’ve earned from any of the levels you played.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple collecting games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
