How to Play

Help the two characters collect the necessary items and reach the exit.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • For the red player (Steve), use the arrows to move:
      • Use the left and right arrows to walk.
      • Use the up arrow to jump. Use twice to double jump.
    • For the blue player (Alex), use WASD to move:
      • Use the A and D keys to walk left and right.
      • Use the W key to jump. Press twice to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to walk.
      • Tap on the up arrow to jump. Tap twice to double jump.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right)
    • Top row:
      • Items collected
      • Level number and score
      • Pause button
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls):
      • Arrows for Blue/Alex
      • Arrows for Red/Steve
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Collect all the items listed on the top left corner.
    • Jump over pools of water or lava.
      • The blue character, Alex, will survive water.
      • The red character, Steve, will survive lava.
      • To cross large pools, double jump.
      • Neither character can cross pools of green acid.
    • Avoid spikes and other hazards.
      • Each time one character dies, both must repeat the level from the beginning.
    • Move the characters from one end of the level to the exit.
      • The exit consists of two colored doors. They activate once all the items are collected.
      • Each character must enter the door of their color.
      • To clear the level, both characters must survive to reach their doors.
    • You can play this game by yourself (controlling both characters) or with a friend.
  • Collecting and score
    • Non-scoring items
      • You can pick up the following items alongside food.
        • Weapons
        • Listed items
      • When you’ve collected all the listed items, the exit doors activate.
      • None of these items contribute to your score.
    • Score items
      • Pick up random food items to earn points.
      • Each item of food is worth between 1 and 5 points.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You automatically start at the first level.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • This game has 10 levels.
      • You immediately play the latest level you’ve unlocked.
      • You can’t replay previously beat levels without starting the game over.
    • Winning vs losing
      • Collect the important items in each stage to unlock the exit door & then move each of the players safely to the exit to beat a level.
      • You lose a level if either player runs into a hazard.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
