How to Play

Feed the dinosaur meat and desserts to get them to grow. Read the words and sentences on the bottom row.

• Starting the Game
  • On the setup screen, select a category to load the welcome screen.
    • Language: Asks a type of question
  • On the welcome screen, select Start to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to select the food item. Drag and drop it to the dinosaur or the waste basket.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators (top right corner, top-down)
    • Enlarge button: Lets you switch from windowed and full screen modes
    • Reset button: Starts the game from the beginning
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You start with the following arrangement of options.
      • The food appears on top of the log on the left side.
      • The dinosaur to feed is shown on the center.
      • The waste basket is shown on the right side.
    • Drag and drop the food to where it should go.
      • Food the dinosaur likes should go to them.
      • Food the dinosaur dislikes should go to the waste basket.
    • Keep feeding the dinosaur to help them grow.
  • Bottom words and sentences
    • Before you begin the game, you must pick a category.
    • There are 5 categories on the setup screen.
      • Language: Sentences based on words that ask questions.
      • CVC: Vowels
      • Initial: Consonant sounds that appear at the beginning of the word
      • Medial: Consonant sounds that appear at the middle of a word
      • Final: Consonant sounds that appear at the end of a word
    • The words and sentences appear on the bottom row.
    • There are 10 of these words and sentences in total.
      • If you feed the dinosaur, you move on to the next word and sentences.
      • If you don’t feed the dinosaur, a new sentence or word is generated, but the counter doesn’t move.
    • You can read the words or sentences out loud if you want.
