How to Play

Move the alien from left to right to avoid the bouncing balls.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the large play button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Left click or tap anywhere to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the character button on the top left corner to switch player characters.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.
    • The gems you’ve collected are shown on the top left corner of the screen.

    • To move the alien:
      • With your mouse, left click and drag from side to side.
      • Alternately, use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to move left or right.
        • The keyboard keys offer more responsive & more granular controls.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move the alien.

  • Basic rules
    • Before the game begins, select a character.
      • You start the game with only one playable character.
      • Characters must be unlocked using gems.
    • Move the alien from left to right.
      • Balls will drop from the sides of the screen and bounce around.
        • Balls can vary in size, speed, and bounce angle.
        • Avoid them for as long as you can, as any ball can kill you.
      • The moment you hit a ball, it’s game over.
    • Pick up gems and bonus time.
      • Bonus time extends your total gameplay time by having the seconds added to your actual play time.
    • Your score is based on how long you survive.
      • A timer appears above the alien each time the game begins.
      • Bonus time gives you an extra 2 points.
      • The longer you avoid getting hit, the higher your score will be.
      • Your current and best scores are shown on the game over screen.
  • Gems
    • Gems occasionally fall down from the top of the screen.
    • Move the alien toward the gem to pick it up.
    • Your gems are retained across game plays.
  • Store
    • The store allows you to spend the gems you collected to buy new characters.
    • There are 9 characters to unlock, with each costing 50 gems.
    • Once a character is unlocked they remained unlocked through subsequent plays.
• Target Audience
