How to Play

Click on the center egg and any special eggs that appear to earn active income. Unlock the side features and upgrade them to boost your idle earnings.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the green and white New Game button on the welcome screen to start a new game.
    • Select the blue and white Continue button to continue your prior game.
    • Your web browser periodically automatically saves your game progress. You can also save it manually using the save button in the upper left corner.
    • Either via New Game or Continue you will see the instruction screen and then go into direct play.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click on the large egg in the center of the screen to earn active income.
    • Left click on the green button in the lower right of a feature to unlock it or upgrade it to boost your passive income.
    • Left click on special eggs to get a big boost of income.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to use it like a mouse.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Each locked feature shows how much it costs you to unlock it.
    • Each unlocked feature shows your current level number, money earned per second, and upgrade cost.
    • The top center of the screen shows your eggs saved & your passive earning rate.
    • Each time you click on a special egg it shows how much you earn.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • Click on the egg in the center of the screen until you can unlock the first passive earning feature.
    • Upgrade each feature a few times until you can earn quickly enough to unlock the next major feature.
    • Select any special eggs you see on the screen to collect a bunch of eggs at once.
    • Select the victory button after it appears near the lower center of the screen to beat the game.
  • Tips
    • Clicking the center egg vs special eggs
      • When you only have 1 or 2 categories unlocked it makes sense to augment your passive earnings by repeatedly clicking on the center egg.
      • After you get at least 3 or 4 categories unlocked you are better off collecting the special eggs rather than clicking on the center egg.
        • Each feature is associated with a new special egg type, other than the sixth and final feature.
        • You have a limited time to collect special eggs before they disappear, though new ones appear periodically.
        • The value of special eggs increases as you increase the level of the associated feature.
        • When you have many types of special eggs available focus on collecting the most valuable ones first.
      • Red eggs periodically fall from the top of the screen. These temporarily double your earnings power.
    • While each feature can be upgraded to level 100, the cost of upgrades grows geometrically.
      • You are usually better off unlocking the next major feature after a few upgrades.
      • As you upgrade your ranks for each feature there are bonus boosts to the total earnings at certain levels.
        • For example, most features double your earnings at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and so on.
        • The last couple tiers do upgrades at levels 3, 6, 9, 12, and so on.
    • The table below shows the starting earning rate & unlock cost for each feature.
      • Most features are not worth upgrading beyond 5 or 10 before unlocking the next feature.
      • Where the above rule of thumb becomes untrue is with the Nuclear Eggs.
        • Since Nuclear Eggs doubles income every 3 upgrades AND has a high-value special egg that repeatedly appears in the same spot above the power plant you should upgrade it at least to level 50 before unlocking the final feature.
