How to Play

Roll the die to see how many moves the fox can make to flee the fire. Escape the fire for as long as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click anywhere to roll the die.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere onscreen with your fingers to roll the die.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right)
      • X button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Number of moves
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sounds on and off
    • Bottom center
      • Score
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Help the fox flee the fire.
      • Roll the dice to determine how many moves the fox will make.
        • The dice will appear anywhere on screen.
        • Don’t left click or tap more than once after you’ve rolled the dice. Wait until the fox moves before rolling again.
      • The fox will move up the number of spaces shown on the top center.
        • You can move between 1 and 5 spaces up.
        • If you’re close to the top, some of your moves may be wasted because there’s no level for the fox to jump to.
        • If you roll a 6, the fox uses a jetpack to climb up.
    • Keep evading the fire for as long as you can. If the fox reaches the fire, it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points based on the number of levels you’ve climbed.
    • You can compare your latest and high scores on the game over screen.
