How to Play

Slide around the stages to make a path to the exit portal. Avoid flying off into outer space. On levels with energy orbs collect all the orbs. On levels with timer blocks hit all the timer blocks to activate and destroy them.

• Starting the Game
  • Press NEW GAME on the welcome screen to start the game.
  • If you have played the game before and would like to continue your prior game press the CONTINUE button.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including completed levels.

    • Press the up arrow key to slide up.
    • Press the down arrow key to slide down.
    • Press the left arrow key to slide left.
    • Press the right arrow key to slide right.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger and slide your finger in the direction you would like to move.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen shows what level number you are on.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a slide puzzle where you can slide in any of the 4 cardinal directions. The goal is to slide in the correct direction & order so that you do not fly off into space.
    • Some stages have special features or block types you must destroy or activate, while other stages also have energy orbs you must collect.
  • Features
    • Ordinary blocks – blocks you can slide into an unlimited number of times. They do not move or disappear.
    • Portal exit – where you exit most levels. It turns yellow when it is open and is white when it is not yet activated.
    • Timer blocks – initially they behave like ordinary blocks, but after you run into them they count down from 10 to 0 and disappear.
      • When you are standing next to a timer block and it is destroyed you do not move again until you initiate another move command.
    • Orbs – energy pellets you can collect. Collect all of them to beat any level they are on.
    • Phantom blocks – outlines of blocks which you can pass through in any direction, which turn into an ordinary block after you passed through.
    • Gates – areas you can pass through once in a particular direction, which then turn into a ordinary block after you pass through them.
  • Levels
    • This game has 36 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without starting the game over from the first level.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by exiting through the activated exit portal.
        • Some levels have energy orbs you must collect to beat them and do not have an exit portal. You beat those levels by collecting all the energy orbs.
        • Some levels have timer blocks you must destroy. Some levels with timer blocks are beat when all timer blocks are destroyed, whereas others require you to also exit through a portal after destroying all of them.
      • You lose a level if you fly out into space.
        • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of the level.
      • If you destroy the timer blocks in the wrong order you can get stuck.
        • If you get stuck you can press the level restart button in the upper right to start the game over again.
  • Tips
    • Stuck
      • Levels are quick in this game, so don’t be afraid of making mistakes and replaying levels.
      • If you get stuck on a particular level consider going in a completely different way off the start to have a different path through the stage.
      • Sometimes you can plan your path by working backwards from the finish and look at where you must be just prior to the exit.
    • Timer blocks
      • The order you slide into timer blocks is crucially important, as some blocks must be destroyed before others whereas others must be saved for the end of the level to create a path to the exit.
      • On many levels you need to slide into timer blocks while they are in the countdown stage.
      • If you slide into timer blocks and change directions the instant you hit them sometimes you can touch them without setting off the destruction timer. This can be helpful in some instances (where you want to use the block again) and harmful in others (where you intended to destroy the block but it still remains).
      • Some stages with timer blocks only require you to destroy all the timer blocks to beat them, whereas other levels with timer blocks also require you to exit through the portal.
    • Special blocks
      • On levels with phantom blocks and gates you must pass through them all as part of your journey.
