How to Play
Unlock floors of your business, automate the business functions, and train the employees and managers to boost their productivity. Sell the business to investors and build again.
Starting the Game
Press the yellow and white PLAY button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to start the game.
If you have played the game before your web browser automatically saves your game progress including cash savings, unlocked floors, and the levels of managers & regular employees on each floor.
Right of the PLAY button is a settings button for controlling game sound and music.
The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a full screen mode button.
Use your mouse left click button to unlock floors, select employees to get them to move, to hire managers, to upgrade employee training levels and manager levels, and to interact with investors.
Tap the screen with a finger to interact with employees and unlock floors.
Controls & indicators
The upper left side of the screen has up and down arrows for scrolling up and down the store.
When you have played for a while an investor who expresses interest in the business is shown in the lower left corner. If you have sold a business in the past the IPO level bonus earned is shown above the cash counter office on the right side.
Floors show their unlock price if you have already unlocked all floors below them.
Managers which can be hired or upgraded and employees where you can upgrade their training level have a green up arrow near them.
When the employee upgrade window is shown it shows total revenue, workers, walking speed, working speed, and worker capacity of the current level and the level you will upgrade to.
The lower left of the upgrade window has X1, X10, X50, and MAX buttons for upgrading the employee one level, 10 levels, 50 levels, and the maximum you can afford with your current cash savings.
If the green arrow appears near the employee level it means you can afford the upgrade, whereas if it appears near the floor manager it means your employee level has been upgraded enough that you have unlocked the ability to do another
When you initially play the game your cash savings is shown in the top center of the screen.
After you have hired a manager on the first floor, an elevator engineer, and a sales manager the cash savings data moves right & your idle income earned per second is shown in the upper left.
This is an idle clicker game themed after a hypermart.
Select workers to get them to work, and then hire managers to automate your workflow.
Upgrade the level of the workers on each floor & upgrade the managers to maximize your earnings.
Upgrade the elevator and the cash counter to maximize your business capacity.
After playing for a period of time you can IPO the business and build another.
The game automatically plays in the background if you use a different web browser tab or exit the game for a while then resume play in the same web browser.
The game has 9 floors full of goods for sale: veggies and fruits, furniture, electronics, apparel, jewelry, and cosmetics.
Veggies and fruits costs $10 to unlock. The first upgrade costs $11.6. The manager costs $100.
The meat store costs $1,000 to unlock. The first upgrade costs $1,160. The manager costs $3,000 to unlock.
The groceries floor costs $30,000 to unlock. The first upgrade costs $34,800. The manager costs $20,000 to unlock.
The food court costs $600,000 to remove the brick barrier and $12,000,000 to unlock. The first upgrade costs $13,920,000. The manager costs $100,000 to hire.
The furniture floor costs $240 million to unlock. The first upgrade costs $278.4 million. Hiring a manager costs $240,000.
The electronics floor costs $2.4 billion to unlock. The first upgrade costs $2.78 billion. Hiring a manager costs $2 million.
The apparel floor costs $48 billion to remove the concrete barrier and $960 billion to unlock. The first upgrade costs $1.11 trillion. Hiring a manager costs $22.22 million.
The jewelry floor costs $19.2 trillion to unlock. The first upgrade costs $22.27 trillion. Hiring a manager costs $111.11 million.
The cosmetics floor costs to $384 trillion to unlock. The first upgrade costs $445.44 trillion. Hiring a manager costs $2 billion.
Workers & managers
On each floor you get a second worker at level 25, a third worker at level 50, a fourth worker at level 100, and a fifth worker at level 200. A sixth worker can be added if you level up beyond the hundreds into the thousands.
As you upgrade workers earn more & each additional worker on the floor adds to the total production of the floor.
Each floor’s manager can be upgraded a total of 10 times, with upgrades being unlocked after you get to levels 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400.
Whenever you increase the manager’s level it typically triples the productivity of all workers on that floor (though in some cases the upgrades increase speed).
The upgrades are cumulative, from 3x, 9x, 27x, … all the way up to 429,981,696 (when fully upgraded along with the elevator and sales floor being fully upgraded).
In addition to the 9 floors of goods there is a store elevator and cash counter.
The elevator collects income from each floor. The first upgrade costs $300. The elevator manager costs $400 to unlock.
The cash counter deposits your income. The first upgrade cots $480. The sales manager costs $400 to unlock.
Managers automate the workflow of employees on the floor.
Each manager can be upgraded 10 times.
On the floors the effect of most upgrades is typically tripling the earnings of workers on that floor.
For the sales floor or elevator upgrades typically double the earnings of all workers across the business.
The multiple for employees is multiplied by the manager upgrade level and the upgrade levels of the sales floor manager and elevator engineer.
Managers have a lightning bolt icon above them when they have the ability to make workers rush.
Workers rush for 30-seconds, then there is a 3-minute time out before the feature is recharged.
After playing the game for a period of time investors will express interest in acquiring the business.
If you sell the business you will earn IPO credits which increase your earnings on subsequent plays of the game.
The longer you play the more IPO credits you get and the higher your earnings on further plays.
You can repeatedly sell your business and start again, earning money faster on each subsequent play.
Eventually after you play through the game and sell the business a number of times you will get to the point where you have an idle income of $179.77DT. After selling the business at that earnings level you won’t be able to eclipse it, meaning you won’t get more investor interest on subsequent plays.
When the game is closed income accrues at the idle income rate.
Income amounts go up through the alphabet after using ordinary numbers.
K = thousands
M = millions
B = billions
T = trillions
Then the letter goes to AA, AB, AC, etc. … on up to DT.
The game has a max idle income & max cash holdings of $179.77 DT.
It is typically worth upgrading whichever the highest floor you can as the income earned per floor grows geometrically as you rise through the building.
Upgrading to levels 26, 51, 101, and 201 add more workers to each floor, which can dramatically increase the income of the associated floor.
The first manager upgrade on each floor tends to be quite cheap & well worth doing. After doing the initial manager upgrade you are typically better off unlocking higher floors and leveling up those workers until your income has jumped to where the cost of further manager upgrades is cheaper.
Do not pay to remove the concrete barrier on a floor unless you have enough money to fully unlock the floor and hire a floor manager.
If there isn’t much to do for a period of time you can let the game play in another browser window, or close the game and come back later to reopen it.
In some situations passive play in another window earns income more quickly, whereas in other situations closing the game out and relying on the idle income during the time you were not playing earns faster.
It generally does not make sense to IPO the business when the opportunity first becomes available. Instead let the game play out for a while and do a number of upgrades so you get many income-boosting credits before IPOing.
The game is suited for players who like business simulation games.
