How to Play

Run Apple or Onion across the store the the checkout without bumping any other customers. You can pause near shelving in between aisles, but you can’t move backward.

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the play button at the center of the welcome page to start the game.
    • Pick either Apple or Onion to begin.
  • Clicking on the question mark button on the upper left will open the tutorial window.
    • Click on the x on the top right corner to close the tutorial.
    • The tutorial window will also open when you start the game.
  • If the theme song playing on loop gets a bit repetitive, press the sound button on the upper right corner of the screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move using the top, left, and right arrow keys.
    • You can also click and drag with the mouse.
  • Mobile
    • Swipe up, left, and right to move.
  • You can only move up, left or right. You can NOT move down.
• Game Play
  • Select either Apple or Onion to begin.
    • The character you didn’t choose will cameo throughout the game riding a shopping cart.
  • Move forward through obstructed rows of shelves and corridors to reach Miss Patty at the cashier.
    • You cannot move backwards.
    • Unlike most cross the road games, you only have 10 levels to play.
    • You also have a defined end point.
  • Avoid hitting the carts of the other shoppers.
    • The lanes alternate between static rows (obstructed by shelves) and aisles
    • You lose the level if you hit any of them
    • Be patient. Time your movements where after the last cart in a lane.
    • There is no time limit to this game.
  • Dying
    • The game is a single hit death. It ends when another customer collides into you with their body or their trolley cart.
    • You get unlimited continues and start off on the last level you played when you continue the game.
  • Strategy
    • Ideally you want to stay as close to the horizontal center as you can so that you have ample time to respond from customers coming in either direction.
      • If you are forced to be near one of the edges then be sure to wait until a customer passes with their shopping cart and follow right behind them until you can exit the aisle.
    • When you get into higher levels customers move faster and some aisles may have multiple customers in them.
      • Be sure to learn their pattern before you enter the aisle as you can’t move backward.
    • Relative movement
      • Your odds of getting hit increase as your relative speed compared to customers increases. Thus you are better off moving in the same direction customers are moving in an aisle rather than moving in the opposite direction.
• Target Audience
  • This game suited for all audiences and fans of the Cartoon Network series.
    • The game is quite short, making it easy to beat. It is a fun, but short game.
  • This has no adult content.
