How to Play

Merge animals of the same kind to create a larger animal. Keep merging animals until you create the elephant.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play near the bottom center to begin.
    • Select How to Play at the bottom center to open the game’s tutorial
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.

  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click and hold to aim.
      • Release to drop
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Game screen (top row, left to right):
      • Next animal
      • Current score
      • Gear button: Opens the pause menu
    • Pause menu
    • Sound switch: Turns the game’s sound effects on and off
    • Music switch: Turns the game’s music on and off
    • Bottom row (left to right):
      • Next button: Resumes the game
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Drop animal balls into the shaft:
      • The game generates the following animals:
        • Ant
        • Duckling
        • Hamster
        • Hedgehog
        • Cat
      • The other animals (penguin, dog, raccoon, pig, panda, brown bear, and elephant) are formed mostly through merging.
      • Use the next animal menu to see what you’ll be dropping next.
    • Merge identical animals together to create newer, bigger-value animals.
    • Keep merging animals until you create the elephant.
    • If the stack of animals reaches the dashed line on the top of the screen, it’s game over.
    • On the game over screen are the following controls:
      • Select Play again on top to play another session.
      • Select Home to quit and return to the welcome screen.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points for every pair of animals you merge.
      • Animals merging yield twice the their value.
      • For instance, hedgehogs have a value of 8. Merging two hedgehogs gives you 16 points.
    • Your finals core appears on the game over screen.
  • Tips
    • Be sure to look at the next up when determining where to play your current piece.
    • If you are struggling with where to place a piece it can be useful to drop them along either side edge of the puzzle.
    • Avoid leaning too hard against the sides of the puzzle when dropping pieces, or else your dropped piece can bounce off the wall out inward toward the center of the puzzle.
