How to Play

Draw a path to lead the detectives to the thieves without running into any hazards along their journey.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select How to Play on the bottom center to open the game’s tutorial.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • The number of levels you’ve unlocked is shown on the top center of the screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the screen and drag to draw a path.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Draw a path on the screen with your fingers.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row:
      • Back button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Level number
      • Reset button: Restarts the level
    • Bottom row:
      • Hint button: Shows you a solution to the puzzle
      • Skip button: Skips the level
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • With your mouse or fingers, draw a path from the detective to the thief they’re assigned to catch.
      • The detectives and thieves have identical colors.
      • Draw the path so that the detectives avoid the following:
        • Crashing into each other
        • Hitting obstacles
      • If you’re not satisfied with the arrangement you’ve drawn, select the reset button to clear the paths and try again.
        • You can make a police officer walk a circuitous path out of the way if you are trying to burn time with them so that another officer can pass through a shared narrow passage first.
    • If you’re stumped, select the hint button to show you a way to solve the level.
    • If you hit anything, you must start again.
    • Catch all thieves to clear the level.
      • The game starts out with 2 thieves on the first level.
      • The last level of the game has 5 thieves.
    • On the end screen are the following controls:
      • Select the reset button to play on the left the level again.
      • Select the play or skip buttons on the right to proceed to the next level.
  • Levels
    • There are 50 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each time you reload the game, you automatically begin at the last level you’ve unlocked.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like path making games.
    • In this game the police officers shoot the criminals rather than arresting them, which shows a bit of cartoon blood at the end of each stage.
  • Other than the above, the game has no adult themed content.
