How to Play

Form the sum on the top center by selecting the diamonds with the right numbers on them.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a number to select it. Left click on a selected number to deselect it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the numbers onscreen with your fingers to select them. Tap on them again to deselect them.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right)
    • Top row:
      • List button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Sum to find
      • Reset button: Starts the game all over again.
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sounds on and off
    • Bottom row:
      • Current score
      • Best score
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Select a group of numbered diamonds to form the number shown on the top center of the screen.
      • The group of numbered diamonds you select can be as large or as small as possible. They must simply equal the value of the sum.
      • If you selected too many, deselect the diamonds and choose new ones until you get the correct sum.
      • Once you form the sum, the diamonds are cleared from the screen.
    • Every few seconds, more numbered diamonds fall from the top of the screen.
      • The number of diamonds that fall down vary.
    • Keep playing for as long as you can.
      • The game ends when the stack of diamonds reaches the top of the screen.
      • You can also just quit the game if you don’t want to play any more.
      • On the game over screen, select the reset button to play again.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the sums you’ve cleared. Each diamond cleared is worth the number on it.
    • Your best score is updated in real time. Once you’ve beaten your previous best, both it and your current score will rise together.
    • Compare your latest and high scores on the game over screen.
    • The browser saves your best score regardless of how you end the game.
