How to Play

Slide the number tiles around the grid until they are arranged in the proper numerical order.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the information button on the left to open the game’s instructions. Select the center of the instructions screen to close it and return to the welcome screen.
    • Select the speaker button on the right to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a puzzle piece to move it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on a puzzle piece with your fingers to move it.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Reset button: Creates a new puzzle for you to solve
    • Information button
    • Speaker button
• Game Play
  • Choose a puzzle size:
    • 3 x 3
    • 4 x 4
    • 5 x 5
    • 6 x 6
    • 7 x 7
  • Once you’ve selected a puzzle, wait for a moment while the game scrambles the puzzle.
  • Move the pieces one at a time.
    • The pieces you select will slide toward the empty slot.
  • Repeat the process until you’ve sorted the entire puzzle.
    • The correct order is from smallest to largest (left to right, top-down).
    • If you’re ever stumped, select the reset button to start again.
  • At the center of the win screen are the following controls:
    • Select the home button on the left to quit and return to the welcome screen.
    • Select the reset button to play another puzzle of the same size.
    • Select the grid button to choose a different grid size to play.
