How to Play

Jump (or double jump) at the correct times to collect the stars and keys then pass through the doors while avoiding the ghosts and spikes.

• Starting the Game
  • Press the green and white PLAY button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including completed levels and level star ratings.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click once to jump and twice to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen to jump. Tap twice to double jump.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The game shows the level number in the upper left corner.
    • The upper right corner has buttons for restarting the level and going to the level select screen.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked and the best star rating you earned on each completed level.

  • Basics
    • This is a room escape game where you tap or click to send your character in motion & they keep running until they run into something, then switch directions.
    • Collect all 3 stars by running into them & grab the key to unlock the door.
    • Avoid touching ghosts or spikes.
      • Some spikes require a double jump to get over.
      • Some ghosts chase you as soon as the level starts, whereas other ghosts start off in a sleeping state and awaken when you grab the key.
      • You still die even if you touch ghosts in the sleeping state.
      • You do not face ghosts in early levels but see them in later levels as you progress through the game.
  • Levels
    • This game has 15 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back to previously beat levels and play them again to try to earn a higher star rating on them.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by grabbing the key and passing through the exit door.
      • You lose a level if you run into a ghost or spikes, or fall off platform.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • When timing jumps sometimes it makes sense to jump once and then wait a while to do the second jump or double jump so that you maximize the distance you can travel and/or limit your peak jump height.
    • If a star is near a sleeping ghost sometimes it makes sense to jump way early so you catch the star on the way down and do not run into a ghost.
    • If you intend to jump over a ghost which is chasing you it can make sense to stay on the ground as long as possible so the ghost is lower & it is easier to jump over.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple room escape games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
