How to Play

As Santa, collect as many falling gifts as you can while avoiding tainted gifts and poison.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, press the left and right arrows to move horizontally.
    • You can also move around by left clicking and dragging with your mouse, but this is less optimal.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move horizontally.

    • Score
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As Santa, collect as many falling gifts as you can to earn points.
      • Avoid the purple-tainted corrupted gifts. You lose points each time you hit them.
    • Avoid getting hit by the potion.
      • If you consume the potion, you will move slowly for the span of a few seconds.
      • Potions and tainted gifts become more common as the game progresses.
    • Keep playing until you run out of lives.
      • You begin with 3 lives, represented by Santa hats on the top left corner of the screen.
      • When you run out of lives, it’s game over.
    • On the game over screen are the following options.
      • Select Restart on the left to start a new game.
      • Select Menu on the right to return to the welcome screen.
  • Scoring
    • Each gift yields a different set of points.
      • Candy canes give you 10 points
      • Gift boxes give you 35 points
      • Santa hats give you 75 points
      • Stars give you 100 points.
    • Tainted gifts subtract points from your total:
      • Tainted candy canes take 15 points.
      • Tainted gift boxes take 40 points.
      • Tainted hats take 80 points.
      • Tainted stars take 120 points
    • You can view your current and best scores on the game over screen.
