How to Play

Stop and start cars to let them cross a busy intersection safely.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button on the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the cars to select them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the cars with your fingers to select them
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Stop and start various cars, trucks, and motorcycles to let them pass through the intersection safely.
      • Select a vehicle to stop it.
      • Select a stopped vehicle to get it moving again.
      • Ideally, you should stop a vehicle when another vehicle is passing through the intersection.
    • Every so often, a helicopter will pass by. This will obscure your view somewhat.
    • If any of the vehicles collide, the game ends.
      • In this game, the collisions get quite catastrophic, with one car crashes leading to others almost immediately.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points from every vehicle that passes through the intersection safely.
    • Your high score is shown on the game over screen.
  • Tips
    • In the early game, the vehicles are usually spaced far enough that you don’t need to select any of them.
    • Keep an extra close watch on the vehicles crossing from the left or right.
      • The visible part of the road is shorter and they have less time to wait before another vehicle comes in.
      • Let these vehicles cross first while stopping vehicles coming from the top or bottom.
    • Try to stop the vehicles as close to the intersection as possible, but not into the intersection.
      • This gives other cars approaching from behind some leeway to move closer & gives you a bit of time to react.
      • After stopping a vehicle be prepared to start it again almost immediately after traffic passes.
