This is a simple brick breaking game inspired by the original Breakout. A key difference in this simplified version of the game is the lack of lives. Take out the bricks on the top of the screen to clear the level.

• It takes 3 strikes to clear each brick.
• You can only win if you clear all the bricks.
• If you lose your ball, you must start the level from the very beginning. You lose the points you’ve earned in the process.

How to Play

Bounce the ball to clear the stack of bricks at the top of the screen.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the screen to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to move the paddle.
    • Use the left and right arrow keys to move the paddle.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the paddle with your fingers to move it.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are found on the top row. From left to right:
      • Level number
      • Play/pause button
      • X button: Exits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Score
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • You automatically start on the first level.
    • Clear one level to unlock the next.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress
  • Basic rules
    • Select the play button to launch the ball.
    • Move the paddle as the ball returns to keep it in play.
    • Each time the ball hits a brick, it will change color:
      • Green bricks turn into orange bricks
      • Orange bricks turn into red bricks.
      • If a red brick gets hit, it disappears.
    • Keep the ball in play until the entire stack of bricks disappears.
      • If you miss the ball, you end up starting the entire level from the beginning.
      • Starting over also clears your score.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point each time you successfully clear a brick.
    • Each time you restart the game, you lose all your points.

  • The game is suited for players who like brick breaking games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
