How to Play

Keep the supermarket stocked with goods and quickly check out customers standing in line.

  • This game has 3 basic functions the player must do: quickly check out customers at the register, keep the store stocked with goods, and expand the store’s inventory line.
  • Check out customers
    • Customers waiting to checkout will have a green circle over their head indicating how long they have waited and how much longer they are willing to wait.
    • Click on them to ring up their purchases.
    • If there are multiple customers in a row it can help to quickly click a batch of them so then you can focus on other parts of the game.
    • One of the first upgrades you should buy in the game is opening the second checkout line, which costs $1,000.
  • Keep the store stocked
    • When goods sell out a green circle appears above them indicating they need to be restocked.
    • Clicking on the sold out goods will tell the stock boy to restock.
    • Don’t forget to periodically check the stock room to see if it needs restocked.
    • You can buy a third pallet in the stock room for $5,000, which comes in handy as the store gets busy.
    • You may need to scroll back and forth to see some parts of the store.
  • Expand inventory
    • The top half of the grocery store has places where you can put new inventory lines.
    • As you earn income you can buy the ability to stock these goods.
  • The upper right corner of the screen offers the ability to turn sounds on or off.
  • Your game progress is stored in your web browser. You can continue where you left off if you take a break from the game.

Tap Supermarket is simpler than most tycoon games. You only have two basic actions (restock and check out) and limited expansion options. But what it lacks in depth, it makes up through escalation. Soon enough, you’ll find yourself trying to keep up the business on the front and back end.

Your main job throughout the game is to keep the store shelves and inventory well-stocked. Customers check out by themselves, but your cashiers are slow without micromanagement. When the lines get too long, you can opt to handle the checkouts yourself. You also scale up your operations by buying new shelves. Some of these sell different merchandise. Keep the shelves moving and the customers checked out to improve your rating. Don’t expand too fast, or you might not be able to keep up.

This isn’t a game for those who like customizing. But it does give you a foretaste of the business sim genre. This fast-paced game achieves difficulty without becoming too complex.

Pretty decent for a non-Flash engine online game, not gonna lie.

This game takes you through the hectic process of maintaining a supermarket. It’s a straightforward and simply requires you to click avatars or supermarket icons. When you see the green symbol, that means you should click it to make restocking or purchasing faster. The more people are in the supermarket, the more frequently you need to restock . The idea is to maintain a momentum of timely stocks and checkouts for your customers. The end goal is to earn profit and increase your store’s inventory.

Once you earn enough coins, you can add more to your inventory to grow profits. You can start buying the least expensive product tables. You also can buy a third pallet to make the restocking process faster. To do this, you must earn at least $5,000. The game’s challenge comes in balancing screen time for the top viewer and the lower viewer. Yuu must constantly check those items while helping customers at the counter. It’s easy to get lost playing this game for a long time.
