This is a simple, no-frills version of the classic number puzzle. Fill in a generated grid with the numbers 1 through 9. The caveat is that you can’t use a number more than once in each row, column, or 3 x 3 square.

How to Play

Use the givens in each puzzle to ensure each number only appears once in each row, column, & 3×3 grid. Enter possibilities using the small numbers and your final answers with the big numbers.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button below the title of the game to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click on a cell to select it.
      • Left click on a number to put it in the cell.
        • The small numbers allow you to put multiple possibilities into a cell.
        • The large numbers are used for your final answers.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on a cell to select it.
      • Tap on the numbers to input them into the cell.
  • Controls and Indicators
    • On the top left corner is the home button. Use this to return to the welcome screen.
    • On the top right corner is the reset button. Use this to start the puzzle from the very beginning.
    • The input methods appear only when you select an empty cell.
      • The left number pad, which is smaller, is used to place in guesses.
      • The right number pad is for placing in your final answers.
• Game Play
  • Sudoku basics
    • Fill in the grid with the numbers from 1 to 9.
    • You cannot repeat a numeral in any row, column, or 3 x 3 square.
    • Deduce the placement of all the other numbers using the ones already on the grid.
  • Guesswork
    • Like most online sudoku games, this one has a means of adding guesses.
    • Guess numbers appear as tiny versions of the numbers. You can place in as many of them as you need throughout the puzzle to help you extend the givens to deduce which numbers belong in other locations.
    • Use these tiny notes to keep track of the possible numbers that could belong in a specific cell.
    • Tap on a small number once to insert it & tap again to remove it, or select the delete button to clear the contents of the highlighted cell. If you place the final number in a cell it clears out all guess numbers.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple number and logic puzzle games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
