How to Play

Swat all the bugs trying to get at your honey.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen. select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top left corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Select the information button on the bottom right corner to learn how to play the game.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click or tap on the bugs to smash them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the bugs onscreen with your fingers to smash them.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Your score is shown on the top left corner.
    • The timer is on the top right corner.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Swat all the insects that crawl on the ground.
    • Swat all the bees that fly in from above.
    • Don’t let any of the insects get into the honey.
    • Keep the insects away from the honey until the timer runs out.
      • The timer lasts for 2 minutes.
      • Your goal is to survive until those 2 minutes are up while killing as many bugs as you can.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 3 lives, represented by honey pots on the far right end of the level.
      • Each time a bug gets too close to the honey pots, they spill it and you lose a life.
      • You also lose a life if the honeybees swoop in and take them.
    • Lose all your lives and it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • Gain points for every type of bug you swat.
    • Each type of bug yields a different number of points:
      • Blue bugs and green bugs: 5 points
      • Brown bugs and gray beetles: 10 points
      • Spiders and Ants: 25 points
      • Cockroaches: 50 points
      • Bees: 200 points
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like idle tapping games.
