How to Play

Make the soccer ball jump over (or roll under) the obstacles and into the goal before the timer reaches zero.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.
  • Select the play button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to start playing.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right, a game developer information button in the lower left, and a more games button in the lower right.

    • Use your mouse left click button to give the ball lift.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to give the ball lift.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Your current score is shown on the scoreboard at the top center of the screen.
    • Your remaining time meter depletes right to left and is just below the scoreboard.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has a sound control button.
    • At the end of each game you are shown your most recent score along with your all time best score.

  • Basics
    • This is a soccer-themed Flappy Bird inspired game where your goal is to score a goal by shooting the ball into the goal.
      • The ball typically generally moves forward to the goal with the exception of when it hits a bomb, hits the goal post, or bounces off an obstacle at a bad angle.
      • If you overshoot the goal the screen wraps and you keep going.
    • You have a limited amount of time to score each goal, with the timer at the top center showing your remaining time.
      • Each time you score a goal you get a new timer.
      • The subsequent goal requires the ball move in the opposite direction.
  • Obstacles
    • Other than the goalpost itself the main 3 types of obstacles in the game are: bombs, solid gray blocks, and blocks with a transparent middle showing a metal support.
    • Bombs – when the ball hits them the bomb explodes.
      • This can send the ball back in the direction it came in, or in another direction depending on how contact was made.
    • Solid gray blocks – these can change your directional force when you bump into them, but they can also be knocked over to help open up a level.
    • Blocks with metal supports – these can not be moved when you hit them.
      • If you bump into them they change your directional force.
  • Tips
    • If there is a thin access area with bombs near it you are better off hitting the bombs early to open up the area so you can make it later than trying to avoid the bombs outright and bumping into one so late into play that you do not have enough time to compensate for the impact of the bomb on your route.
    • On some stages where there are many obstacles it can make sense to use altitude to your advantage:
      • fly over most of the obstacles until near the goal & then drop down, or
      • if the goals are off the ground you may be able to roll your way across below them
    • If you overshoot a goal keep moving quickly as the screen wraps, but you have to move fast to get the goal in time.
