How to Play

Slow down the submarine and collect as many coins as possible. Avoid hitting sharks and underwater mines.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Choose your preferred submarine model on the left side of the screen.
    • Select Play on the bottom right corner to begin.
  • Your web browser automartically saves your high score.
    • Your high score appears on the bottom center of the welcome screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, use the up and down arrows to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move up and down.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Menu button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Current score
      • Speed
      • Restart button: Starts the game from the beginning
    • Bottom center:
      • Health bar
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You automatically move forward and shoot.
      • You move very quickly at first.
      • You can slow down by collecting lightning bolts.
    • Collect as many coins as you can.
      • Pick up the magnet to collect all the coins visible onscreen.
    • Avoid sharks and underwater bombs.
      • Bombs are stationary and cannot be shot.
      • Sharks die after a few shots. Make sure to aim at them.
    • Keep going for as long as possible.
    • Once the game ends, you automatically return to the welcome screen.
  • Health
    • You begin with a full health bar.
    • Each time you hit a shark or a bomb, you lose health.
    • The game ends when your health bar is empty.
    • Collect shields to replenish your hit points.
  • Scoring
    • Each coin you collect is worth 1 point.
  • Tips
    • Sharks
      • Move up and down while you are firing so that any sharks coming onscreen have a good chance of taking immediate damage.
      • The gray sharks move up and down periodically, whereas the blue sharks actively chase after you. Try to align with the blue sharks as soon as they come on screen so you can shoot them before they get to you.
    • Speed
      • Collecting almost all of the lightning bolts is crucial for maintaining low speed, giving you greater control.
      • Greater speed control allows you to shoot sharks earlier, collect more coins and power ups, and avoid the mines with greater ease.
    • Health
      • As the game has no time limit it is more important to not take damage than it is to try to collect every coin.
      • Be careful to distinguish between the red mines and the magnets when you are grabbing the magnets.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple sub driver games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
