How to Play

Remove and replace the screws to allow the wooden brackets to fall off.

• Starting the Game
  • The game is immediately playable once it loads.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a screw or screw hole to select it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screws or screw holes with your finger to select them.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right)
    • Top row
      • Reset button: Returns the level to the way it was at the beginning
      • Top right corner (top-down):
        • Music button: Turns the game’s music on or off
        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on or off
    • Bottom row
      • Screw driver power up
      • Drill power up
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move screws around to loosen the bracket.
      • Select a screw.
      • Select a screw hole to move the selected screw there.
      • Loosened brackets will swing around, revealing extra screw holes.
    • Keep moving the screws around until the brackets fall off.
      • Remove all the brackets onscreen to beat each level.
      • On the win screen, select the next button to load the next level.
  • Levels
    • All 15 levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each time you reload the game, you begin at the last level you’ve unlocked.
    • After completing the entire game you can reset progress to start the game over.
  • Power ups
    • Power ups require ads to use and can only be used once per level.
      • The code was originally created where players had to view ads to get a power up. Our site doesn’t have in-game ads, so all you get is a 10-second delay before you can use it.
      • Once you’re out of power ups, you cannot use any more until you finish the level.
    • The screw driver power up permanently removes one screw from the screen.
    • The power drill power up lets you create a new screw hole.
    • It is possible to beat all 15 stages without using any power ups.
  • Strategy
    • On most stages you typically want to start near the top of the level and remove the higher screw on a top bracket.
    • Each time you remove a screw from a bracket and get the bracket to fall down slightly or swing (or outright fall off the platform) you create a new hole to use from where you removed the screw.
    • If you get brackets piling up and have multiple empty holes it can make sense to move screws around in a daisy chain fashion so that pieces that are not screwed in do not block your access to other screw holes.
