How to Play
Control Santa Girl by jumping to collect gifts and gold coins to achieve the top score. Avoid traps, walls, and gaps that can destroy your character.
Starting the Game
Click or tap anywhere on the opening screen to begin the game.
Your character will immediately start running. Be sure to place your hand on the game controls.
The game automatically stores your level progress in your local web browser.
If you’ve previously played the game, the upper right corner will display the top score.
Mouse and Keyboard
To Jump: Using your mouse, position your cursor way above the character. Then left click to jump.
The higher you point your cursor, the higher the character jumps.
To Slide: Make sure to point your mouse cursor behind and below the character. Then left click to slide. Slide to avoid hitting high walls and pass through the small passage ways.
The character automatically runs in one direction, which is to the right. You do not have to press anything to make it run faster. It runs at a constant speed.
When you collect a red snowflake power up, the character will automatically ride a sled that propels faster for a few seconds. This makes it temporarily immune from traps as well.
On keyboard, you can press the up directional arrow key to make the character jump.
To slide, just press the down directional arrow key. Your character will shift low and slide on ice.
To Jump: Position your finger above the character. Swipe up on your screen. The character jumps higher when you swipe up longer.
To Slide: Position your finger below and slightly behind your character. The press the screen. The character will automatically shift lower and slide on the ice.
Again, the character automatically runs to the right at a constant speed. No need to press anything to make it move. It only gets faster when you collect a red snowflake that temporarily makes it immune from obstacles.
There is a pause button on the upper left corner of the game screen. Select this if you need a break.
When you select pause, other control options will appear in the left side of the screen. These are the following:
The first top icon is the sound button, which looks like three vertical lines. Select this to mute or unmute the music and sound effects.
The second icon is the reset button, which looks like a round arrow. Select this if you want to restart the game.
The last icon is the right arrow play button. Select this when you’re ready to go back to playing the game.
The goal of the game is to keep your character alive as long as possible to score higher points.
Stay alert and time your jumps accordingly. Jump to collect vertical or horizontal lines of gold rings and gifts.
Don’t forget to collect gold coins and gifts on higher platforms. These provide extra points.
You must jump to evade spiked enemy columns that randomly appear throughout the course.
Expect the course to have traps of all sorts as the character runs.
Besides jumping, it’s crucial to time when you must lower your character to slide. This move can be tricky when one wall obstacle comes after the other. It may be easier to do this on keyboard than using a mouse or touchscreen.
Collecting Power Ups
The white heart snowflake power up helps increase your life. As long as your character has that white heart snowflake icon while it’s running, it won’t die right away even if it hits a trap.
When the white heart snowflake icon disappears, this means your health is low. You must collect white heart snowflakes along the way to improve your health. Otherwise, the next time you hit a trap, your character dies.
Collecting heart power ups is one way to ensure a longer life.
Even if you have good health, if your character falls through a gap, it’s game over.*
The red snowflake power up is a speed and point booster. Besides riding a sled and making you immune to traps for a couple of seconds, it automatically collects gifts and gold coins along the way.
The more you collect red snowflake power ups, the faster you can increase your points and beat your high score.
The controls are easy but the course comes with challenging obstacles the longer you play. It’s fun and entertaining, and comes with cute whimsical Christmas graphics. This is an endless adventure running game that you can keep on playing to your heart’s content.
