How to Play

Jump up as many platforms as you can to flee the ascending floor of spikes. Evade or stomp on any enemies you encounter.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your latest high score is shown just above the play button at the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse, left click anywhere on the screen to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere on the screen with your fingers to jump.
  • Controls and indicators.
    • The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the top row. From left to right, they are as follows.
      • Stars collected
      • Pause button
• Game Play
  • Ascending
    • Your character automatically runs from one side to the next.
    • Jump up as many platforms as you can.
      • Often, you’d need to double jump to reach a platform.
      • Time your jumps to avoid enemies or stomp them.
    • Don’t linger on the platform too long. A bunch of spikes will climb up a few seconds after the game stars.
  • Enemies
    • Making contact with your enemies from a side or underneath is an instant game over. Avoid them at all costs.
    • You can defeat enemies by stomping on them.
  • Scoring
    • Each platform you jump on is worth 1 point.
    • Each star you pick up is worth 5 points.
    • Enemies killed add another point to your score.
  • Stars
    • Collect stars as you ascend.
    • Use these stars to buy new skins for your character in the store.
      • Three different characters are for sale for 30, 50, and 70 stars each.
      • You can access the store from both the game over screen or from the bottom right corner of the welcome screen.
