How to Play

Reach the end of the level and collect as many coins as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play below the title of the game to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the left and right arrow keys to move.
      • Use the up arrow key to jump. Select the up arrow key twice to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although this game might load on some touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Get to the other side of the level.
    • Collect as many coins as you can.
    • Avoid or attack enemies.
  • Lives, enemies, and hazards
    • Lives
      • You start with 3 lives, represented by an icon of the cat’s face. Keep track of your lives on the top left corner of the screen.
      • You lose a life each time you hit an enemy or a spike.
      • You lose all your lives at once if you fall into the water.
      • After losing all your lives, you must start the level over from the very beginning.
    • Enemies
      • Enemies can jump, fly, or move back and forth.
      • Make contact with them and you will lose a life.
      • You can only attack by stomping them.
    • Hazards
      • Hazards include water and spikes.
      • Spikes work like enemies. You lose a life when you hit them.
      • Water is an instant kill, regardless of the number of lives you have left.
  • Scoring
    • Unlike other platforming games, you only gain points from the coins you’ve collected.
    • Your score is shown on the top right corner of the screen.
    • Each time you restart a level, you retain the points gained from the previous playthrough.
  • Tips
    • Your enemies don’t really give you anything, so it’s often better to get past them. Don’t bother stomping them.
    • Use the double jump to your advantage. This can let you reach coins in high places and avoid falling into the water.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like cats or simple platformer games.
