How to Play

Time your jumps to avoid dangers and see how many consecutive jumps you can make.

• Starting the Game
  • When the game loads it automatically loads you into play.
    • The first hop or jump is free onto a rope without obstacles, but subsequent jumps have obstacles.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Hold in your mouse left click button to charge your jump & release to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger & hold it to charge your jump, then release to jump.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the game has a sound control button.
    • Your game score is shown in the upper right corner.
• Game Play
  • This is a simple jumper game without a whole lot of strategy. There are 4 types of platforms:
    • Closing stone platform – you need to jump almost immediately to land on these.
    • Closing wood platform – these need a pretty quick jump, though can be slightly later than the stone platforms as the center pieces take a bit of time to lift up and close after the initial wood beams come into view.
    • Moving platform – you only need to land one foot on it for the landing to count. With this it is best to be a bit late in your timing rather than early, as you can land back on the platform you jumped from & keep tightening down your timing on subsequent attempts.
    • Cannons – these you can watch the timing pattern of and then release a charged jump when the timing is right.
  • Platforms can appear in any order & you can get the same platform type repeatedly.
  • It makes sense to immediately charge up your jump so that you can release right away if you see a closing platform. Holding a charged jump at the ready costs you nothing as you can still time the release for moving platforms & cannons.
  • You die whenever you hit a cannon ball, hit the spikes on the side of a moving platform, or hit the underside of a closing platform.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple jump timing games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
