How to Play
This is an easy side-view golf game where players try to shoot the ball into the cup.
- Shoot the ball into the hole
- Click the mouse to set angle and strength of your shot.
- In some cases it makes sense to roll the ball while in others it makes sense to use loft.
- In some cases it can make sense to overshoot the cup and have the ball roll back into the cup.
- Beat other holes
- You start the game with three balls.
- Each shot you make does not cost you a ball.
- Each time the ball rolls off the screen or you miss a shot it costs you a ball.
- In some cases the balls can be placed in a worse spot than the original shooting spot if you, for example, get it stuck at the bottom of a hill.
- The game is over when you run out of golf balls.
- Scoring
- Your score depends on how many shots it takes to make the ball go into the cup.
- Each hole in one is worth 3 points.
- If you miss once before making it counts as 2 points.
- If you miss twice before making it counts as one point.
- Your high score is stored in your local web browser.

Unlike regular (or real-life miniature golf), you don’t need to worry about making par in this game. Your hole is only a stroke away. But you must make your stroke count. The controls are easy enough to understand. You control the power and direction of your stroke by clicking and dragging away from your desired direction. Arrows will help guide you through the process.
You have three tries. Shooting won’t cost you a ball, but your ball rolling offscreen will. The right balance of power is critical to getting your ball past the terrain of each hole. But it shouldn’t be too strong lest you drive your ball offscreen. The trick is to let the physics engine of the game do much of the work for you. Just like in real life!
Much like in the real game, you need a steady, controlled hand to master Mini Golf. Fortunately, it’s not a steep learning curve. You soon learn to temper each stroke after each hole.
This Mini Golf putting game is enjoyable and relaxing. You can take your time and play it at a leisurely pace. Simply guide golf ball into the hole. Do this by pressing on the mouse button and pointing toward the angle you are aiming. Once you release the button, the ball will go off. Expect the game to provide a variety of interesting courses. You only get three tries until it’s game over, but you can always come back to the game. Every time you start, there’s always a new course waiting for you.
What makes the game tricky is the sensitivity required to control the ball. Hit too hard and you might overshoot. If you hit too gently, your ball might slide back from the hole. The variety of courses allow you to think about the right way to approach your shot. When the hole is at a higher level, you can strategize to hit the ball a little harder. This way, even if the ball overshoots, it can slide smoothly back to the hole. There are plenty of tricky courses that will surely keep you challenged and amused.
