How to Play

Move the magnifying glass around to get a glimpse of the image. Type in the name of the hidden object on the space provided.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the gear button below the play button to open the game’s audio controls. Use these to turn the game’s sound effects and music on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

      • Left click and drag to move the magnifying glass on the image.
      • Left click on the letters to type in the name of the object.

    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.

  • Basic Rules
    • Each level consists of a picture that’s obscured.
      • To see the image, you must move your cursor or fingers around.
      • A magnifying glass will appear near your cursor or fingers. This will reveal what you need to see.
    • The images per question are determined at random. The pictures shown will not be the same each time you start the game.
    • Identify the image by typing in the letters.
      • Select the letters using your mouse or fingers.
      • All the letters you need to spell the word are on the bottom row. Likewise, you do not need to use all the letters.
      • The number of letters you need to spell out the word is shown on the left side of the text box.
    • If you’re stumped, use a hint.
    • If you make a mistake, select the reset button on the right side of the text box to clear your answer.
      • If your answer is wrong, you can try to spell out the word again.
  • Coins and hints
    • You earn 9 coins for every question you answer
    • Use these to pay for hints. Each hint costs 5 coin at the start, and becomes more expensive by 5 for every subsequent letter revealed.
  • Levels
    • This game has 10 different levels containing hundreds of different questions.
      • The first level, animals, has 51 different questions.
      • You have to complete all questions in a level to unlock the next one.

  • Gotchas
    • There are a few gotcha-type trick questions where one object could have one name but actually has another.
    • For instance, in the animal level, some questions use animal pictures which appear like they could be other animals.
      • The goose looks like a swan.
      • The marmot looks like a hamster or guinea pig.
      • The heron looks like a stork.
      • The buffalo appears twice. In one of the times it shows up, it looks like an ox.
    • To get past these questions, either deduce its name using the length of the word or use the hints.
