Numerals
The number is spelled out in English on the top center of the screen.
Type in the number using the calculator on the right.
Place values
There are two rows in this mode.
A number is shown on the upper row.
The place value is shown on the lower row.
Click on the digit that represents the place value.
Pick a player avatar from the 4 available characters.
Earning the pucks
Answer 5 questions correctly in a row to earn a right to make a penalty shot.
Each answer you make is worth 10 points and earns you one puck.
You can earn up to 5 pucks.
Make even one mistake and you start over from the beginning and lose 10 points.
You can increase your points by deliberately answering incorrectly at the last question, which means you must start all over again. Repeat this as often as you want.
Your score also carries over from the last time you play. If you continue playing after you lose the penalty game, you can increase your final score further.
Firing the pucks
To aim your shot, use the cross diagram on the right side of the screen.
The puck moves forward and backward, then side to side.
To lock in the move, select ready.
To ensure a move that reaches the center, hit ready when the puck is at the center of the cross each time.
Unlike our other math shooting games, this has an added element of difficulty in the form of the goalie and the other players.
They will block your puck if they happened to pass by.
You should make your shot when the opposing players and the goalie are about to move away to give you a clear shot.
Target Audience
The game is suited for younger children learning about numbers and place values.
The game has no adult themed content.
