How to Play

Shoot down approaching monsters before they reach you.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top left corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Select the instructions button on the bottom left corner to open the game’s tutorial screen.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • With your mouse, left click to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the monsters with your fingers to shoot.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Lives
      • Score
    • Bottom row (left to right):
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen
      • Remaining bullets
• Game Play
  • Basic rules:
    • Shoot as many monsters as you can to earn points.
    • Each monster requires a specific number of shots to take out:
      • Jack o’ lanterns go down in a single shot.
      • Ghosts take 2 shots.
      • Witches take 3 shots.
    • Take out the monsters before they reach you.
      • If they get too close, they will attack you.
      • You can easily get overwhelmed if too many monsters attack at once.
    • You have 6 bullets.
      • Select the bullet counter to reload.
      • You’ll need to reload often to combat hordes of monsters at once.
    • Survive for as long as you can.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 3 lives. These are represented by hearts on the top left corner of the screen.
    • Each time a monster gets too close, you lose a life.
    • Lose all your lives and it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • The monsters are worth the following points:
      • Jack o’ lanterns: 50 points each
      • Ghosts: 200 points each
      • Witches: 500 points each
    • You can view your current and best scores on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who celebrate Halloween or like simple gun shooting games.
    • You shoot a gun at ghosts, witches, and jack o’ lanterns.
    • When any of the monsters reach you the game shows a blood overlay around the borders of the screen.
  • Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
