Food Merge Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Merge groups of two or more identical foods to create food tiles of greater value. Keep merging for as long as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to place a food tile on a cell.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on any of the cells with your fingers to place a food tile there.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • List button
    • Score
    • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You can place new tiles on any of the open cells in the 5×5 grid.
    • Merge 2 or more adjacent food tiles together.
      • Each time you merge tiles, the resulting tile will always be one value larger than the other.
      • When merging, food tiles will move toward the space of the last tile you placed.
      • Knowing where to place tiles is an important part of the game’s strategy.
    • You can only lay down tiles with the values of 1, 2, and 3.
      • Your tiles can then merge into chain reactions of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and so on.
      • Knowing where to place tiles strategically to set a long chain reaction in place requires a lot of foresight and a bit of luck.
    • Keep merging tiles until the entire grid is filled up.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points from each group of tiles you merge.
    • A pair of two food tiles is worth 1 point.
    • The more food tiles you merge in a single move, the higher the points you’ll receive.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like tile merging games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
