How to Play

Merge together 3 or more tiles of the same value to create a tile of double the value.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Let’s Try to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high scores.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click and drag to group numbers together,
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe numbers to group them together.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Group identical number together to get the next number in the sequence.
      • To create a group, select and drag a cluster of 3 or more identical numbers.
      • You can connect adjacent numbers horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
      • The final number will form where you end your selection.
      • Each new number formed from the cluster is twice higher than the last.
    • Keep clustering numbers together until you run out of moves or your reach the number 8,000.
  • Scoring
    • You earn up to 10 points for every group of numbers you create.
    • You earn at least 30 points for each move.
    • The larger the group, the greater your points.
    • Keep track of your score via the score counter on the top center of the screen.
  • Strategy
    • Much like in 2048, it’s best to keep most of your larger numbers in one convenient corner lower down the puzzle.
    • Don’t be afraid to make diagonal moves to earn more points.
    • Maximize your score by taking out several identical numbers at once.
      • Longer connections still only create one cell, but they score more points.
      • If you have few moves available you can opt to break a single long connection into multiple smaller ones to create stones of the same value to merge once more.
